Schoolwide Math Bee Celebrates Student Achievement

Students across the school recently put their math skills to the test during our exciting Schoolwide Math Bee! The event gave students an opportunity to showcase their knowledge, build confidence, and celebrate the importance of mathematics in a fun and engaging way.

Students in grades 1 and 2 competed by solving addition and subtraction facts from 1–20. These young mathematicians worked quickly and carefully as they answered each problem. After a competitive round, Tyrell Hill earned first place, and Timelo Rogers took second place.

Students in grades 3 through 5 faced a different challenge, solving multiplication and division facts from 1–15. Their quick thinking and strong math skills made for an exciting competition. Rita Layton earned first place, while Norell Williams placed second.

Congratulations to all of our participants for their hard work and determination. Events like the Math Bee help students strengthen their skills while building excitement and confidence in learning math. We are proud of everyone who participated and look forward to more opportunities to celebrate our students’ academic achievements! 🎉📚➗
