Count Day Week Brings School Spirit and Fun for All Grades

Count Day Week is shaping up to be an exciting celebration filled with school spirit, themed dress days, and engaging activities for our elementary and middle school students. Each day offers a new way for students to participate, connect, and show their pride while making Count Day memorable.

The week kicks off on Monday with an ’80s vs. ’90s Spirit Day, where students and staff can throw it back in time by dressing in their favorite retro styles. From neon colors to classic throwback looks, the hallways are sure to be full of nostalgia and fun.

On Tuesday, students can team up with a friend for Twin Day. Whether dressed exactly alike or sporting coordinated outfits, this day is all about friendship and creativity.

Wednesday is packed with excitement as we celebrate Color + Denim Day, with each grade representing a specific color:

  • 8th Grade: Red

  • 7th Grade: Blue

  • 6th Grade: Black

  • 5th Grade: Yellow

  • 4th Grade: Blue

  • 3rd Grade: Purple

  • 2nd Grade: Red

  • 1st Grade: Green

  • Kindergarten: Orange

In addition to showing off their colors, students will enjoy special activities throughout the day. Pre-K through 5th grade will take part in Pizza Day, while Pre-K through 2nd grade will celebrate with classroom games and color parties. Grades 3–5 will enjoy face painting, and grades 6–8 will have the opportunity to experience a game truck. To top it off, the first 20 boys in grades 3–8 who return permission slips will receive free haircuts.

The fun continues on Thursday with Pajama Day, giving students a chance to come to school cozy and comfortable while still ready to learn. Students in grades 6–8 will also enjoy Pizza Day on Thursday, adding an extra treat for our middle schoolers.

Count Day Week wraps up on Friday with College and Sports Day. Students are encouraged to wear college gear or sports attire to celebrate future goals and team spirit. A special raffle for a fondue bar experience will be held, adding an extra layer of excitement. The week will also feature a highly anticipated Boys vs. Girls Volleyball Game, bringing students together for some friendly competition.

Count Day Week is all about participation, pride, and community. We can’t wait to see our students dressed up, having fun, and making memories all week long!
